Motivate users to reboot

Don't you hate users who never reboot their Computer. When I noticed that an important startup script was not executed on certain PC's I decided to create a Group Policy to motivate users to reboot. The GPO contains two vbscripts.

Script 1: Ask user to reboot

I defined a logon script to ask the user to reboot after waiting 36 hours.

The screen dump shows that the user can choose not to reboot, but he will that be asked again in 4 hours. When he answers No again the question pops up after 2 hour, next after 1 hour, 30 minutes and every 15 minutes after that.

Script 2: Reboot instead of logoff

A logoff script checks if the computer is powered on for more than 36 hours. If so, the PC will reboot.

NOTE: The scripts use the application eventlog (Source WSH) for logging
